Windows 11 v22H2 severely modified by Openshell and ExplorerPatcher I'm keeping my old system as a capture station for analogue video tapes and DV. My new system 1 does the same job at 160% of film speed. A video, with Neat Video noise reduction applied, would encode at 12% of film speed. I was really suffering, not so much in editing (with proxies) but in encoding, which just took ages. Since then we've advanced to MP4 and to bigger and bigger resolutions.

My struggle is over! I built my (now) system 2 in 2011 when DV was king and MPEG 2 was just coming onto the scene and I needed a more powerful system to cope. When finished, go to File, Export movie, Export as MP4 and you'll get this:

If you have filmed anything in 16:9, it will show up landscape with the top and bottom cut off, as it should. You are then editing your project in 9:16. You want Social Media and one of the other selections. If you didn't, then open the Project Settings (shortcut E) and change the video settings. When you start the project - on the very first screen - select the format you want to work with as I show in the image above. Select the obvious one and you'll be on the message screen. You get the same choice on the next screen but with a description of each. I don't know how you can miss it - on the FAQ screen, just scroll to the bottom of the page and under Other ways to find help it says Forum and Contact Support. I've looked and looked (after I've consulted the knowledge base). I don't suggest that you ask Magix how to operate the program - that is what the manual and this forum are for.īTW, I do not see any links to support anywhere.

There is a Support link at the top of every forum page, use this and follow the prompts selecting Ask support where appropriate - you may need to scroll down the pages. I've also been unable to find any way to contact Magix for support .
